Welcome to Competitive Balance Baseball (“CBB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, booking a service, purchasing a product, or participating in a Competitive Balance Baseball program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility and Minors
Individuals under 18 may participate in Competitive Balance Baseball services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for booking services, providing required information and authorizations, and agreeing to applicable policies on behalf of a minor participant.
2. Services
Competitive Balance Baseball provides baseball training, player evaluations, development programs, clinics, camps, consulting, and related services. Services, schedules, availability, instructors, locations, and pricing may change.
Participation does not guarantee any specific athletic, performance, recruiting, roster, scholarship, or other outcome. Player development depends on many factors, including participation, effort, consistency, physical development, and application of instruction.
3. Booking and Payment
Payment may be required to confirm a training session, program, package, clinic, or other service. Available payment methods will be communicated at booking or checkout.
Pricing displayed on the website is subject to change. Applicable taxes, transaction charges, or other disclosed fees may be added where appropriate.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate booking and contact information.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
Unless otherwise stated for a particular event or program, cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a refund or rescheduled session in accordance with our Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy.
Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session and associated payment.
Competitive Balance Baseball may cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule a service when reasonably necessary, including because of weather, facility conditions, instructor availability, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. When CBB cancels a paid service and an appropriate replacement or rescheduled session is not available, the affected payment will be refunded or credited as appropriate.
5. Training Packages
Training packages are subject to the terms presented at purchase. Unless otherwise stated, package refunds apply only to eligible unused sessions and are governed by our Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy.
Packages may not be transferred to another participant without prior approval from Competitive Balance Baseball.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants, parents, guardians, guests, and website users are expected to interact respectfully with coaches, players, families, staff, facilities, and other participants.
Competitive Balance Baseball may refuse or discontinue service when conduct is unsafe, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, unlawful, substantially disruptive, or otherwise inconsistent with maintaining an appropriate training environment.
7. Safety and Participation
Baseball and athletic training involve inherent risks of physical activity and injury. Participants are responsible for following coaching instructions, facility rules, and applicable safety requirements.
Parents and guardians are responsible for communicating information reasonably necessary for the safe participation of a minor and for completing any required waivers, releases, emergency-contact information, or participation forms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
8. Website Information and Availability
We work to keep website information accurate and current but cannot guarantee that all content will always be complete, error-free, or current. We may correct errors and update website information, pricing, schedules, descriptions, or availability.
Website access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, third-party services, or circumstances outside our control.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, Competitive Balance Baseball owns or is authorized to use the branding, logos, original text, graphics, training materials, and other original content appearing on this website.
Content may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, or used commercially without appropriate permission, except as permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks, photographs, or other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
10. User-Submitted Content
If the website permits users to submit messages, files, reviews, photographs, or other material, users may not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, infringing, malicious, or otherwise inappropriate.
We may remove or decline content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Competitive Balance Baseball will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
12. Privacy
Information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website or services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Severability and Waiver
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Training Sessions
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be rescheduled at no additional charge or refunded, as applicable.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session and payment.
Training Packages
Requests to discontinue an eligible 5-week or 10-week training package may be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
Eligible unused sessions will be refunded on a prorated basis. Sessions already completed are not refundable.
Any special promotional, discounted, event-specific, or otherwise non-refundable terms disclosed when a package is purchased will control.
Camps, Clinics, and Special Events
Cancellation and refund terms for camps, clinics, showcases, or other special events may differ from standard training-session policies. When different terms apply, they will be communicated during registration and will control for that event.
Merchandise
Eligible merchandise may be returned within 14 days of receipt if it is unused, unworn, and returned with its original tags and packaging.
Customized, personalized, final-sale, or used merchandise is not eligible for return unless defective or otherwise required by law.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise should be reported within 7 days of receipt so that we can arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times vary by financial institution and payment provider.
Any non-refundable charge or fee will be deducted only when it was disclosed at the time of purchase or is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
